The Devin Waring Foundation was formed in 2019 in loving memory of Devin Waring. Devin was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend to all that knew him. Devin had a presence about him; he could walk into a room and not only light it up but control it with his mere being. He had a way about him that drew people in. Tragically, Devin took his own life on December 16, 2017 - just three months after his 18th birthday.

Unfortunately, stories like Devin's are far too common. Suicide is the second leading cause of death for people aged 10-24. More teenagers and young adults die from suicide than from cancer, heart disease, AIDS, birth defects, stroke, pneumonia, influenza, and chronic lung disease - COMBINED.

This is the reason the Devin Waring Foundation was formed. Our mission is to bring awareness of the darkness of suicide. We want to show people who are struggling that there is hope, and provide education to those who need it. Suicide affects all ages, races, and genders. Any person who needs help, or is struggling with suicidal thoughts, will benefit from this organization. We will make it our goal to continuously raise money for the awareness of suicide and its prevention.
