About the Devin Waring Foundation

The Devin Waring Foundation was established in 2019 to honor the loving memory of Devin Waring—a cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Devin's vibrant presence could light up any room, captivating those around him with his energy and charm. Tragically, Devin took his own life on December 16, 2017, just three months after his 18th birthday.

Stories like Devin’s are heartbreakingly common. Suicide is the second leading cause of death among individuals aged 10–34. In 2023, 22% of high school students reported seriously considering suicide in the past year.

The Devin Waring Foundation exists to confront this crisis. Our mission is to shine a light on the darkness of suicide, offering hope to those who are struggling and providing education to those who need it most. Suicide affects people of all ages, races, and genders, and we are committed to reaching anyone in need.

Through awareness campaigns, prevention programs, and community support, we strive to show that help is available and hope is real. Our goal is to continually raise funds and provide resources to support suicide prevention and education, ensuring no one feels alone in their struggle.
